George Anjaparidze has over 15 years of experience at top institutions supporting private and public sectors on pioneering sustainability. His zest for impact has driven him to work for governments, development banks, the aviation industry and the UN. When he was Senior Economist at the IATA Chief Economist Office, he led the design of the Carbon Offset and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) and was the lead economist on air cargo. As UN Chief Negotiator on climate finance for developing countries of the Eastern European Group, he successfully negotiated the governing instrument and establishment of the Green Climate Fund. He has also led sustainability initiatives at the World Bank in Washington DC and UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn. He holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Goizueta Business School. He is currently CEO of Veritas Global, a Swiss economics and strategy advisory:
